Correct, they were purchased elsewhere. The point is, even if you pay $200, use the good stuff.

I have gotten several sets from the link above. Another just last week. I have been victim to poor quality seals more than once, never again.

Anybody know if there's an equivalent kit for 6mm valve stem seals? I got an '02 engine and would like to do this while it's out of the car. For that matter, do I even have to do this for an '02 motor? Or did they ever switch to a more durable seal?
