I need to glue a clip back onto a small exterior trim piece, a straight piece under the driver's side rear door.
Looks like someone has already been in there, but their glue repair finally failed.
The back of the plastic is stamped "PP+EPDM+M10" I suspect it is just polypropylene?
Any suggestions for an adhesive that will stick?

JB weld Plastic (black). Roughen the surfaces and mix the JB weld and stick it. Give it 24hrs to set. It does dry in about an hour but but on the surface. Give it 24hrs for good measure. I use that to rebuild broken P80 dashboard mounts.

I intend to try plastic welding for such repairs. Given the variety of materials now available it seems there will be something compatible with most common "legacy" plastic. With practice welding seems more likely to be successful and stable long term. Joins that are hidden from view, as in this case, can dispense with some aesthetics.

PP should indeed be Polypropylene. With addition of EPDM and M10.
See this link for EPDM adhesive:

Plastic welder on Amazon. Get another donor piece to melt, with the same plastic kind letters.
The reason why plastic repairs fail is different thermal contraction rate of different plastics. If the same plastic was used for repair, the repair will hold forever.
