Radio interchange on P1 Volvos

I helping a friend with a P1 C30 T5. His head unit has a faulty CD changer so looking for a used replacement. Does anyone have any experience on P1 head units that can advise what models can be swapped into his car?

Hey — as far as I know, many Volvo‑P1 head units are cross‑compatible, but you need to check the wiring and connector type (CAN‑bus or ISO) before swapping. If you find a used unit from another P1 (C30, S40, V50) with the same connector and inputs, it should work. Good luck finding one!
