I’ve looked at several photos of V70 window motors and I don’t see where this manual crank socket is located. I have always felt that there should be an easy way to manually close any power window in the event of failure, without removing door panels. I once had a 99 Honda Accord with a sunroof. There was a little plug in the headliner over the rear passenger area and a big Allen wrench in the truck with the jack equipment. If the sunroof motor failed, you could pop out the plug and manually close it with the Allen key without removing any else from the car.
Anyone who has lost the ability to power up an electric window knows the anxiety this produces, esp if it happens during bad weather of in a situation where the car has to be parked outside on a city street.
I think all cars with power windows should have a quick removal panel and a factory supplied Allen wrench to manually raise the windows in a power down situation.
