Sunroof on my 02 volvo s60 2.4t rattles when i hit bumps. I checked the screws that mount it to the track and they are nice and tight. It only seems to have the slightest movement when its closed, when I open it and try to move it around a little its very tight - i get no movement.
Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

S60 Sunroof Rattle Fixes
If it's really bad, then that's probably it. I pulled the front & rear rails off about a week after I bought the car in November, cleaned everything & tried to epoxy it back on. Fell off 3 days ago
. I'm going to leave it off, but I expect it to shatter one of these days when I hit a pothole.
Pull the plastic accordian trim off, remove the 4 t25 torx screws, & take the panel out. The steel support might be stuck to the glass, & just loose.
NE1 know if an 850 glass will interchange?

There's also a metal strip glued to the front bottom edge of the sunroof-glass frame. It pushes the front edge of the sunroof up when the sunroof is closed. Volvo's eco-friendly glue loses its grip. The strip has a slight bend so when glued to the sunroof frame, it's under tension. The glue fails gradually, letting the strip flap against the sunroof frame. I pushed on the loose end (passenger side) of mine (2001 V70) and the strip popped off completely, with all the hardened glue attached. A little epoxy and some spring clamps reattached it. I also had a smaller rear strip come loose (discovered it on top of the shade); but I can't figure out where it should attach. These things don't show up on the Volvo parts diagrams.
