Closing up thread

The ABS fault cleared it self on the first self test (15 mph, burp!) and all worked well

I now have traction control, STC back just in time for the snow melt.

I'm going to pigtail my spare rear ABS sensor and put it and the yellow connector in the free parts bin for someone on a budget who needs this. One could replace a single sensor by soldering in the pigtail to the pins and reinserting them into the car connector. At a $175 for the harness, I'm sure this would be preferable

FCP has the ATE replacement harness for $50 USD - this may be a clearance price. Im sure this harness will go NLA soon as its a 1999-2000 and C70 1999-2004 only part

Update , you can get the rear harness for-1998 really cheap from this guy on eBay in this thread

But it won't work on the 1999-2000, unless you cut and solder
