The DC motors are all the same for almost every car out there. Some have longer shaft or differing gears. Early in the year I followed the same method below and took some copper wire from the Romex and repaired the motor to the 03 S80 T6 door lock actuator.

After taking apart the Fuel Door actuator for cleaning and lubing it still did not work. There is 12V going to the wire connector. No one steals gas here so the actuator is just out till I get to the motor.

Blessings,

I think the small electric motor is made by Johnson, I have seen it on ebay for a few dollars.

They are very inexpensive on eBay. Just have to make sure the body and shaft are the same. I think I had trouble finding the correct motor without taking it out. I also didn't want to have the door sitting unlocked with a bungie cord to the other door while figuring out and then waiting for the new motor.

My V70s gas door started not unlocking. I found that if I smacked the door really hard it would unlock the next time I unlocked the doors. I cut the locking tab off the door. I'm not overly worried about someone stealing my gas.

Hope this helps you guys out.

The good news is gas is too cheap to steal. The hose to siphon it costs more than the gas
