I cant get the valve stem seals out.

It wasn't on a V70 but for removing motorcycle valve seals.
Take a flat screwdriver you don't like that's maybe 1/4"ish wide, get a torch, a small propane one will do.
Heat the tip going back about an inch, bend the tip into a short hook a little tighter than 90 deg.
and let it cool. You now have a powerful pull/pry tool.
I like the screw idea, so if you have a slidehammer that would work also. A very adaptable tool
especially if you have a welder.
