Removing fuel rail on "94" 850
I need to remove fuel rail to replace oring injector, to remove the line at the rail. There is a 25 torc screw and looks like a clip between cap and rail. How do you remove the line from the rail, and what tool do I use. Thank you.

There are two 12mm bolts attaching it to the manifold remove them and pull the rail parallel to the injectors you don't need to remove the fuel line if you want to undo the torx and pull it straight back after removing a small clip

Unless I'm mistaken, you'll need an open-end wrench to disconnect the fuel line - perhaps 16 mm? Then you disconnect the individual wires from the individual injectors, remove the T25 screws, and pull the fuel rail straight up. There will be some resistance, but that is simply the o-rings.loveMy850 wrote:I need to remove fuel rail to replace oring injector, to remove the line at the rail. This is actually a very simply procedure.
Obviously you will NOT want to do this when the engine is hot.

To remove the fuel line from the fuel rail remove the T25 screw. Then the square bracket plate comes out. The fuel line is pulled out. "O" rings on the tip of the fuel line should be shot with WD40 hopefully preventing the "O" from tearing. Here is a picture of that square plate.

Would anyone happen to know the particular name of that little metal piece? I dropped mine into the abyss (behind the intake manifold) and have been trying to find a replacement, or alternative means of fastening to no avail.
