Hi
I just received my new flywheel from Skandix that I ordered for my 850 T5 R. After I unboxed it it danwed on me that the flywheel only seems to be machined for a 228mm clutch, and my car uses a 240mm. It has groves (pictures) on the outer edge and those groves would contact the clutch disk if I used a 240mm. Is it okay to run a 240 clutch? I have a sachs 240mm 850 R clutch on the way and it would suck really bad if I had to send it back. Thanks
Flywheel number: 9454774
850R flywheel and clutch don't fit?

I'm still waiting for my new clutch to arrive but from what I've read online I think the bolt pattern is the same. So the groves don't matter? I can catch my fingernail on them so they are not just surface scratches.jimmy57 wrote: 03 Dec 2019, 08:51 That will not hurt. The disc will polish that area with use. Are the dowels and clutch cover bolt holes all in correct places?
And thanks for the reply
