Vacuum Routing Help

Post by garyfb »

Not sure the part that the EGR goes into in section 'F' below
Also, the piece in 'D' with the 3 lines going into the top.

One other question, does the small vac line from the fuel inj rail go into the flame trap housing ?

Can anyone help.

Trying to put everything back together. Labeled most lines, but in the heat of battle, forgot to label some.

Thanks

i have a non turbo and your diagrams are for turbos.

I will say that the diagram in F.. is used for a car that i had an air pump with.. does yours have an aux air pump? On the air pump in diagram "F" it had the piece in between the egr and supply tower. On my non air pump cars that piece is not required and the egr went directly to the supply.

I know the regulater goes to the vacuum supply directly ( that tower with the multiple suppy holes in diagram F) on a non turbo car.

Best of luck!

Hey those are great diagrams ..where they from Vadis?

I don't have an aux air pump, so I guess the EGR goes right into the vac tree.

Thanks

The diagram is from a reply in Sept by "made in japan", so I just uploaded.
Thanks to MIJ. The diagram is very helpful.

Hope I can get it all back together right.

keep in mind just because there isnt an air pump on your unit..that if its a turbo it could have that device which my car with an air pump had.

If its not located on the ledge on the radiator top ..in the engine bay then most likely you dont need it.

Gosh, I don't even remember uploading that diagram. Anyway, I'm glad it came in handy. Keep us updated on everything...and yeah, the vacuum tree holds a multitude of small hoses.
