PSA - 99 V70 AWD drive axles - Check and tighten
If you start getting unexplained engagement of the STC/ABS on a AWD check and verify the drive axle bolts are tight. I found the passenger's side wasn't torqued to spec. I'm unsure if it ever was as no work was performed on it during my ownership. Special thanks to Matty Moo. If I ever require a rep...

Re: Upper engine mount, different style than most write-ups
That is the 99-00 top torque mount. Remove the spark plug cover ( 8 x Torx bolts) as it covers 2 of the bolts. You may have difficulty removing the cover due to the turbo to intercooler pipe. With careful manipulating it can be done. 4 bolts (watch out which positions they come out as they are diffe...

Re: Would this 2000 radio trim piece fit my 99 V70?
Yes. it will. However I would wait until it's warmer out and try to remove the old trim first. Many times these stick on pieces when lightly heated WITH THE INTERIOR WARM will pop right off, many times in one piece when pried correctly. I don't think you realize the difficulty in changing that cente...

Re: PS Resevoir Flopping Around
Just old plastic in cold weather. You could just wedge it in with foam or a zip tie for a simple repair
Make sure the hoses aren't fouling the serp belt. If you do replace, just tip it to burp air, I don't think there is a bleed procedure but will check
