After driving for several hours on interstate, in the summer, lower than 1/4 tank of gas car has stalled 3 times (approx. 70k, and 2x around 105k). Not accelerating, downhill, uphill, or in a turn. We just noticed that our 2001 V70XC blower fan is not turning on after the car is turned off. It used to turn on. Wondering what happened?

I can read about the general fuel delivery system in a car on some other websites or in a book, but it would be nice to know the specifics for these cars. Maybe this would help us figure out what is going on with our cars. In our case, we have had intermittent stalling.
