What do you mean, there are still many useful parts on that car! Rear lights, front crash bar, rear bumper guides, hood hinges, rear side windows........!

I ran one for a few months like that. I did put a generic pcv on the end of the hose so that it wouldn't suck air in during deceleration.
Seems like you could go as long as you wanted with that set-up.
