Here in PDX they do the emissions test both at 2500 RPM *and* at idle...so I wonder if in the latter, deleting the SAS system would bump it over the edge. Hmmmmmmm.

From what I can tell, replacing the components is about a $410 parts enterprise and a couple hours labor..
Air Valve $240
SAS Injection Valve $80
SAS Solenoid $90

Pull it into test station hot and the SAS will never come on and won't play a role.
