Besides the ones listed my air conditioning compressor is going out and my powere steering pump is leaking at 235,000 miles. What a POS!!!!! :mrgreen:

i recently hit a curb in my 99 s70 and it totally messed up my front crossmember and numerous other parts,i had to replace it and my radiator just so i can drive it but i also noticed more damage like shown in the pic i added, i dont know what exactly the parts are and what needs to be fixed. i just know theres a constant oil leak

The last post would be classed an accident, not a failure.

The only failure was the competence of the driver :D

That's not a great way to welcome you to the site now is it?? LOL

Please steer clear of curbs no-one likes seeing a messed up Volvo especially a leaky one :D

I can't make out what is damaged there. Can anyone chime in?

Steering rack @175,000 mi. Left halfshaft , 189,000 mi, left headlamp circuit board @ 191,000.

Hi there,

I have a 1998 V70 XC AWD Cross Coutry, with 128,000 miles, it does have being good so far but now develop a new problem, the engine management comes on some times with no reason at all, is not flashing just stays on. Over here were I live it is still cold temperatures around 6C, last Saturday it was very hot temperatures raised to 22C, and I was driving my car with the engine light management on but as soon it start being more hot the light just switch it self off for the rest of the day, it was fine.
It is this normal or not?
Another thing I did notice about this same problem is if the battery is disconnected the warning light does not come on for a few days.

Can some one please tell me watt kind of problem is this and watt is the solution.
