Went down to try it out and it has fixed my odom problem too.

My 850 has an issue with the paint on the right rear panel cracking. It started on the ridge above the gas tank fill and goes to the rear window section. Now some smaller cracks that go up/down closer toward the tail light.

Its not flaking or peeling but looks like its a thick paint almost plastic ...

My 850 came with a set of T5 fog lights. The previous owner installed them but never got to wiring them. To bypass cost of the "special relay" and switch I pulled a standard relay from under the fuse box(not the expensive fog light relay) and a rear marker switch from a donor 850 at the pull yard ...

Aren't they all 'overseas' cars?

I called my local dealer earlier this week to see if mine had been repaired. He took the last 6 #'s off the vin and looked it up. Mine had not been repaired but is covered, He said to bring it in if I wanted but I was not getting the "paying customer" attitude.

Lately I smelt gas pretty hard after a fill up when driving especially with drivers window down.
Today when filling up I notice a spill out as soon as the tank topped off. Well its my turn to deal with that 3/4" fuel line leaking when topping off the tank.

Do you know what sends the signal (sine wave?) that triggers the motor in the odo to turn. Is it in the instrument cluster itself?Just thinking that may need to be replaced.

I have read where a few have seen this problem but no resolutions.
