84 single cam bf23 motor to fit a B234 twin cam cylinder head from 900 series.
Asking if the heads are a straight swap as in bolting to the engine. And IF the efi inlet and exhaust manifolds need to be change or how hard would it be thanks.

The pump directly behind those shafts. Thats what the download i have says it is. Will it be ok to install that gearbox with the lesser worn shaft at all? What runs/grabs that worn shaft anyway, Thanks again

Hi just wondering what the out shaft does as one is worn and the other is very worn, looks like a badly worn starter motor shaft where the brushes run. thanks I think it maybe something to do with the pump.

Just got a 85 240 and would like to know whats the differance between a 3 speed auto and a 3 speed auto with electric o/drive. As in what revs would i loose at 100kph/60 mph. My old 81 did 3,400 rpm at 100 kph, thanks

Turn the key with no throttle starts fine but after 2-3 secs dies. More throttle kills it also. Smells rich both cold and warm engine. When it does "idle' its running on 2-3 cylinders for about 10 secs. Swap over most things from a donor car but still same old problem. Done injectors, computer ...

With no throttle it starts for about 3 secs then dies. But extreme fuel smell. anyone?
