04 volvo c70 larger calipers

Post by jenkinskg »

After buying pads last time I realized the c70 with 17" wheels had 2 different caliper disc sizes.
My car has 17" wheels but has the smaller brakes.
I think some of the v70 awd wagons had same brakes but larger, maybe R model.

Who knows what I should order to get mine to the bigger brakes?
I assume change calipers, discs and pads, which v70 r shares same spindles?

Your keyword here is "302mm brakes". That's what you want. C70s got both 280mm and 302mm. I've never read of a rhyme-or-reason for the C70s getting two sizes. R's got the big brakes.

Caliper size is the same, brake pads are also the same between 280mm and 302mm.

Caliper bracket is different, so are the size of the brake rotor, and length of the brake hoses.
