The other day I found myself stumbling over the definition of torque. Don’t let this happen to you. Read Rye of RZ Design‘s outstanding definition of what this torque thing really is.
The angle gear units do not have gear parts available from Volvo as spare parts. The bearings and seals are serviced but not the actual gears. One of the gears is mounted to a spindle using a specialized adhesive and is pressed on. The press fit makes that spindle not usable to properly retain a new gear pressed onto it.
As performance levels rise so too do the necessary supporting components of the engine to reach the power goals you might have. Most fuel system upgrades are pretty straight forward and only consist of a fuel components I.E. Fuel pump, Injectors, and fuel pressure regulator. For the most part the Walbro series of fuel pumps are a popular cost effective option when it comes to replacing the factory pump.
