Need to know how to Bypass AC Thermal Switch?

“Since it’s that time of season and I had problems with my A/C thermal causing me problems I thought I would do a ‘how-to’ on bypassing it. I couldn’t find anything with pictures so here you go…”
First pic is of the A/C thermal (after I’ve cut the wires on both ends) but it gives you a clear shot of what it looks like…
Jimmy57 gives some background on this switch:
“The high temp switch was problematic and was deleted later. The compressor mfr left it on as it was not needed by Volvos with high pressure switch since that also is the protection for compressor overheat.
I deleted them by unplugging the power lead from engine harness to wire into switch and unplugging the wire out of switch to the wire to clutch magnetic coil. Then you plug the power wire directly to clutch coil wire leaving the switch wires hanging in the breeze.”

First pic is of the A/C thermal ( after I’ve cut the wires on both ends ) but it gives you a clear shot of what it looks like
second pic shows the connector you need to disconnect that comes from the harness to the thermal
This is the wire coming out of the back of the thermal ( back side of compressor ) cut it as close to the thermal as you can
This is the wire stripped coming out of the front of the thermal getting ready to connect to the wire that went to the back of the thermal
Wires tied together ( should use a butt connector or solder ) I did this for a quick pic…
Finished result.. just plug the connectors back together and your done.. basically you should have what looks like in the first pic ( a square thermal with wires cut on each end )

Solved part of the issue, now the clutch engages but just for a second or two. I’m going to check levels and maybe the high and low pressure switches. Thanks a bunch.
