Hello folks! I just want let everyone know the status of my Volvo V70 GLT ETS Light.
I took it to the dealer. Their intention was to clean the TB and replace the air oil trap. We fought with them to the point that they asked me to bring a tow truck to tow my car out of their garage since I don’t want them to replace oil trap without a written guarantee that it would fix the ETS.
After I hung up the phone, I decided to call a local TV consumer advocate and told them about my bad experience with that dealer. I also called Volvo headquarters and a law firm for advice.
Issue with ETS light with my 99 V70GLT
The ETS warning light indicates a problem. The ETS system monitors wheel speed via the ABS (Anti-lock Brake System).

We are looking for a reasonably priced used car, MUST be an automatic….also want a wagon…commuter car…works construction..needs the back for tools…or fishing poles and tackle box….lol…but serious…
I have ABS and red brake light on in my 1999 V70. Replaced ABS module, reluctor rings, front + rear pads/discs. Still on! Looking at nsf abs sensor now, apparently common, as speedo takes it’s voltage from this one and speedo not working. Many £££s spent, cant afford no more! HELP!

1999 2000 model and the engine management or the etm lights come on sometimes one sometimes both no apparrent difference in the running and passed the mot emmisions so what is the problem its just annoying to see these lights on so any info would be appreciated

I HAVE A V70 04 REG ON KICK DOWN THE WARNING TRIANGLE LIGHTS
TELLING ME TO GO TO SERVICE GARAGE
THE CAR GOES INTO LIMP MODE AND I HAVE TO STOP, SWITCH OF ENGINE AND RESTART THEN ITS OK UNTILL NEXT KICK DOWN THIS PROBLEM IS INTERMITENT, I HAVE TAKEN IT TO MY VOLVO DEALERS
AND THEY CANNOT TRACE THE PROBLEM.
