When I got this car, the rear upper engine mount was broken so I replaced it with the stock insert. About 1 year later I found that again, it had completely severed itself from its connecting points inside the mount. So I ordered a Polyurethane upper engine mount replacement from FCP and installed it.
I read a few posts that mentioned vibration issues, They were right. It was beyond slight, it was extremely noticeable and impossible to leave in due to the interior rattling and engine noise transmitting through every component in the passenger compartment. Im not that critical but this was unacceptable.
So I returned it and ordered the new updated OEM mount from FCP. it is a complete replacement of the aluminum engine attachment with a rectangular rubber insert already installed. it was slightly more but well worth it. In it went and the Noise and Vibration were GONE!!
This has been my experience and and I dont mean to condem a stronger performance product but it was so overwhelming inside the car that I cannot recommend it as a possible choice..
It is easy to twist the mount during install so pay attention to its position when you do, That will insure that no stress or movement of the mount will exceed it’s travel limit.
1) After tightening, The Washer’s edge should be parallel to the aluminum mount insuring a perfectly straight alignment when at rest
2) The upper and lower outside corners of the Square aluminum washer should be Resting against the shoulders of the black standoff with equal distance on top as well as the bottom. This will insure a straight alignment of the rubber mount within the housing.
3) The steel washer easily rotates when installing it, dropping either corner inside the black standoff and twisting the rubber insert, creating undue tension and pressure.

Mathew i could not agree more went with the solid insert and vibration city is a understatement i guess i will keep it as a spare, it is beyond anoying at idle, i dont really understand why someone would want to use this on a daily or any car they spend time traffic in
